YWCA NCW is on a mission

Eliminate Racism

Empower Women

and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all

Our mission in action

We put our mission into action daily across every program—innovating through direct services, empowerment programming, and advocacy, we support marginalized individuals and families while challenging structural barriers to equity. As our community’s needs change, we evolve to meet them.

Our three spheres—Housing, Thrift Store, and Outreach & Advocacy—work together to support individuals and strengthen our community. From meeting basic needs to advancing systemic change, each sphere reflects our shared commitment to equity, dignity, and opportunity.

Find out more about each sphere below!
