National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a nonpartisan civic holiday aimed at strengthening and celebrating democracy by bringing together organizations, businesses, election officials and volunteers, community leaders, students, and individuals from across the country for a national day of coordinated outreach, digital engagement, and voter registration activities. Since launching in 2012, thousands of partners have helped more than 6.5 million people register to vote in time to cast their ballots.
