Winter 2022 Newsletter

YWCA NCW is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Our local vision is to empower women, men and children to break the cycle of economic insecurity and homelessness and achieve self-sufficiency through assistance, support, and education.

YWCA NCW is always looking for volunteers. You can complete an application online. At this time, we are specifically recruiting volunteers to serve on the Thrift Store Committee. We invite you to participate!

Thank you Kunz Floral and San Fransico Sourdough Eatery for donating to help us celebrate Valentine's Day! The sandwiches and roses made lovely gifts for the YWCA housing program residents.

Winter Point In Time Count

YWCA NCW participated once again in the Point In Time Count. Information was collected to see how many unsheltered homeless folks are in the area and gives us more information of how to meet the needs of our communities.
