YWCA NCW's 2023 Juneteenth Celebration

Join us Monday, June 19th, 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Walla Walla Point Park, Ballfield 2, as we celebrate Juneteenth: Freedom Day. Juneteenth marks the day the last enslaved people of Texas received word of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation nearly three years earlier. We gather to celebrate how far we have come and to reenergize our collective work for a more equitable future. Join us for music, resource tables, food, and kickball. Happy Juneteenth!
